I can be pretty slow to jump on bandwagons…I’m just old enough to like doing things the old fashioned way (aka: my way). Even when that often means the “more work” way!
Today I joined the Bloglovin’ bandwagon to discover other quilt blogs to read, follow, and support. WOW is there a lot out there to enjoy!
The reason I joined is two-fold:
- Q2EA is participating in a pattern parade called “Christmas in July Blog Hop” with 21 other quilt designers. It’s coming up on July 15th via our blogs and social media posts. Each designer is sharing a free pattern and instructions for either a holiday project or one that will make a nice holiday gift. We have 3 different categories of patterns: Traditional and Modern Quilt Patterns, Table Toppers / Home and Kitchen, and Small Projects. I will share my first “Storytelling Tees” pattern called The Christmas Star in the Traditional and Modern section. I can’t wait for you to see it!
- And speaking of social media, it’s fabulous for what it does: keeps my friends and family and their activities in my feed so that I can stay in touch and feel connected. It can also be overwhelming and a rabbit hole I don’t need – nor want – to fall down too regularly. Being part of Bloglovin’ allows me to explore other quilt blogs and Alzheimer’s advocacy blogs to see what my peers are doing in the same industries that I love to spend my days. (And maybe some cooking blogs, scrapbooking blogs, book blogs, yoga blogs…)
If you’ve never been on Bloglovin’ here is the link to create a profile and begin following blogs: Bloglovin.com
I hope Quilt 2 End ALZ will be your first!
Love and hugs,
Ashli

Welcome Ashli! I love using Bloglovin. As I follow so many blogs, it keeps my email unclogged and I can see what is going on in one place.
