New month, new block, and with June we are officially halfway through Fleeting! Are you anxious to see it all come together?
We are back to creating a big, 24” x 24” block this month and it’s one of my favorites from the pattern. Reminiscent of a big flower in bloom, the June block is a fun modified nine-patch that really catches the eye!
There’s just something about these big blocks that I’m completely in love with. They’re bold, they show off fabric beautifully, and they feel much more approachable than small blocks that have those really small pieces, which makes setting aside time to make them feel a bit easier. Taking things one stitch at a time is a constant battle with myself but after almost half a year of trying, I definitely feel more connected to the smaller moments each day and more dedicated to taking time for myself.
